Kenneth Sharp

As the Managing Director of Triage Hospitality Ltd Kenneth Sharp has used his first hand experience of the hospitality industry to create a company which is specialised in helping clients to improve their productivity, reduce costs and increase revenue. In a career which has spanned over 21 years Kenneth has worked in every position from Kitchen Porter to Marketing Director and he knows how to ensure that all departments work well together. His most notable previous roles have included General Manager for several 3-5* hotels as well as Regional Sales and Marketing Manager covering hotels in Europe, the Middle East and Africa.

Kenneth began his career by studying for a BA Honours in Hotel and Catering Management at Strathclyde University before taking up a position in the Royal Household at Buckingham Palace for 3 years. It is during this time that Kenneth learned everything there is to know about strict budget control and he has carried these lessons with him.

Several more qualifications followed shortly after which included a Dip WSET, Wine and Spirit Education Trust (1999) before becoming a certified educator for the trust in 2008. He currently holds a Consulting Certificate in Management Consulting and is continuing to study for an Institute of Directors Diploma in Company Direction. He is a member of the Irish Hospitality Institute as well as the Hotel and Catering International Management Association, and an Associate Member of the Institute of Business Advisors Associate Member and the Institute of Wines and Spirits.

His involvement with the hospitality trade has meant that Triage Hospitality Ltd is often the first port of call for any company keen to boost their profits. Previous clients have included The Carlton Hotel Group, Hanly Hotels, Lough Erne Golf Resort, Kinitty Castle, HotelREZ, Hastings Hotels, Park Hotel Kenmare, Tinakilly, Brooks, Hayfield Manor, Dunbrody, Dunraven and Glenlo Abbey, to name but a few.

His past projects of integrating spas into hotels, rebranding hotels and hotel groups and working in electronic distribution have all successfully shown that Kenneth has the breadth of experience to ensure the efficiency of any project regardless of the style, size or locations.
